Tiffany Chui
Tiffany is our office manager at Aperture and likely the first individual you will meet when you come to our office. She was born and raised in Hong Kong. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary and majored in Economics.
She worked as an administrative officer in Hong Kong for an insurance company and has an abundance of experience communicating with clients. Tiffany has been an office manager for more than 10 years for multiple accounting firms since settling in Calgary.
Tiffany enjoys traveling, looking for good food, reading books, and listening to music at home. Enjoying the simple life and spending time with family and friends is how she likes to pass the time.
Aleipho Wong, CPA
Aleipho (Al) was born in Winnipeg and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Humanities from the University of Calgary in 2011. Al articled at Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2015.
In 2017, he began the 3-year CPA in-depth tax course to further his understanding in taxation. Al is experienced with working with clients performing notice to reader, review, and audit engagements for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Al enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys ceaselessly refining and improving the skills and knowledge pertaining to his hobbies. Al enjoys hosting parties and can often be found chatting about the curiosities of whiskey and other sprits with friends.
Aaron Chung, CPA
Aaron is a born and raised Calgarian who obtained a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge in 2011. Aaron articled at Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2015.
Aaron’s experience includes extensive knowledge of not-for-profit accounting, accounting standards for private enterprises, and corporate and personal tax matters used to perform notice to readers, as well as review and audit engagements.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys going on hikes or cheering on his favorite sports teams: The Calgary Flames or Calgary Stampeders. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Chih Ngo, CPA
Chih is a native Calgarian who obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 2009. He articled at national accounting firms for two years before joining Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 2012.
Chih is experienced working with clients performing notice to reader, review, and audit engagements for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Chih can be found spending most of his free time in the garage wrenching away at his Nissan Skyline or on his computer creating add-on content for racing games.
Phi Loren Marie Emaas
Loren was born and raised in the Philippines. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of La Salette, as well as a CPA designation in the Philippines. She worked for a bank and trust company as an internal auditor before moving to Calgary.
Through a bridging program, she joined Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants as an intern and continued with the company after the internship ended. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA certification in Canada.
Loren loves going outside, especially hiking and camping. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family taking in the beautiful lake and mountain scenery.
Sammy Cheung
Sammy was born and raised in Hong Kong. She obtained a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration, major in Accounting from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2019.
She is currently working on obtaining her CPA certification in Canada.
She loves watching movies and reading books in her spare time. Sammy enjoys spending time with family, especially travelling to other destinations for food and scenery.
Raymond KW Wong, CPA
Raymond was born in Hong Kong and became a Chartered Accountant in Canada in 1998. In that same year, he became owner and proprietor of Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants. Due to lingering COVID symptoms, he is spending less time in the office.
Raymond’s experience includes personal income tax services, management advisory to owner/manager corporations, advising and auditing of not-for-profit organizations, advising clients on retirement strategies, and advising clients on purchasing and selling businesses.
Raymond enjoys outdoor activities and nature. He enjoys cooking and learning new things. He also likes to explore new ways of performing mundane tasks, and he can make a good cup of milk tea.
